Step 1 Connect Devices
Double-click the program to launch it and choose Recover from iOS device. Connect your iOS device to the computer via a USB or lightning cable.
Unlock your device. It will ask you whether you can trust the computer or not. Tap Trust. Then click Next on your computer. If your device is an iPhone 4/3GS, iPad 1 or iPod Touch 4, you will need to download a plug-in and enter the scanning mode following the steps on the interface.
Once the connection is established, click the Start Scan button, and it will scan all your data on your iPhone.
Step 2 Choose Data
As you can see in the following picture, all the data types will show in the left bar whether the program detects or not. The details of the scanned data on your device will be shown in the middle and the right.
On the top, you can filter the result by switching between Show All and Show Deleted Only. You can also preview these data, such as contact information, on the right bar.
Select the data you want to recover by checking the box before each piece of data.
Step 3 Recover Data
After you select all your data, click the Recover button on the right-down corner to start. Then it will pop up a window as the next picture. It will save the target data on your computer. Click Open to set the save path for your data and save them as a backup.
In a few seconds, it will be done.
Note: If you have backed up your iPhone data to iTunes with encryption, the software will pop up a window for you to enter the iTunes password. You need to enter the password so that the program can continue to scan your data.
If you don’t have the iTunes password, this software will set a simple password for you.
For iOS 13 or above users, you need to confirm if you want to scan Call History, FaceTime and Safari History data with encryption or not. If you want, please click Encrypted Scan. If not, click Cancel, and you won’t see Call History, FaceTime and Safari History data in scanned results.
If you want to recover iTunes backup, you should have iTunes installed on your computer.

If you once changed the default iTunes backup folder, click Select to choose it manually.
When you have selected a backup, click Start on the corner.
Step 2 Choose the Data
The program will start to scan your iTunes backup quickly and show you the data in that backup. Filter the data by checking or unchecking the file type on the left bar, selecting Show All, Show Deleted Only, and choosing the file type on the top.
Check all data you want to recover. Then click the Recover button on the right-down corner. Move to the next step.
